Clarence is a Software Engineering University Medalist from UNSW, Sydney and has represented Australia at the most prestigious international programming competitions: the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest and the International Olympiad in Informatics.
While an intern in the Embedded and Real-Time Operating Systems group at NICTA, he wrote the first port of the L4 microkernel to the Blackfin processor.
As an open source software developer, Clarence created the KolourPaint graphics application in 2003 and made numerous other contributions to the KDE and DOSEMU projects.
